Cleaning-in-Place (C.I.P.) Nozzle – Simple Design or Pneumatic Actuator

The C.I.P. Nozzle has a retractable design, where the nozzle head, when not in use, is flush with the inner wall of the equipment which requires to be cleaned (spray drying chambers, cyclones, fluid beds, tanks, ducts, etc…)

The retracted position during plant operation ensures no disturbance of the process, and eliminates product entrapment. During C.I.P. operation water is pumped to the nozzle under pressure, which forces the nozzle head into the correct position to clean the plant. The C.I.P. nozzle head is fitted with a spray ring that rotates according to the feed pressure. Once the water supplied is stopped, the nozzle head retracts automatically to its starting position. Suitable for mounting on both thin and thick gauge equipment (insulated or uninsulated).

CMT Developed a new compact, simple and cost-effective C.I.P. nozzle with reduced Flow rate and low pressure water required.

This C.I.P. nozzle provides excellent cleaning effect through a rotating and homogeneous distribution of the fluid, with only 40 liter/min and 3 bar water pressure.
